Warm growing season, grapes ripened quickly but evenly.
Winemaker Massimo Monticelli employed 11-day fermentation, three punchdowns daily during peak fermentation, and 18-day maceration.
Full, rich Mt. Veeder Cab. Even, smooth tannins on the mouth. Opens up to reveal brown spices like nutmeg and clove. Will age 10-15 years.

Stands up to the biggest, boldest meats - elk, rack of lamb, rib-eye - yet complements more subtle sauce-driven dishes like pastas and slow-cooked meats like duck confit. Try with roasted or grilled vegetables.
