Sending Good Vibes from Paratus Vineyards. We are now entering the third month of shelter-in-place. Our operations continue to function well, albeit with major adjustments in some areas. The vineyards are thriving while adapting to later-than-normal rains. The winery is getting necessary things done like barrel racking, Chardonnay bottling, and remote Reserve sampling. And the warehouse and shipping facilities have adopted tighter safety protocols and are operating smoothly. Most shipments arrive 5-10 business days after ordering, quicker if selecting Air Delivery.
Thank you to all who purchased Paratus since our Covid-19 Response email last month. We have already raised a significant amount for the Napa County Community Foundation Relief Fund. As a reminder, Paratus is donating 10% of every purchase through the end of May directly to the relief fund. You do not have to do anything but place a wine order, we will take care of the rest. How does this help? The fund is available to directly assist those, including so many in the local wine and hospitality business, who do not qualify for existing government relief programs. And if you purchase a case or more (mixed orders OK), Paratus will automatically provide an additional 10% discount to your total cost.
This applies to current and library wines, Chardonnay and Cabernet, Estate and Reserve - no holds barred. So whether you are doing virtual happy hours with friends and family, replenishing your cellar, sending gifts, or planning for a day in the near future when we can all start sharing wines in person, this is a great way to stock up, save money, and help those in immediate need get through this crisis.
