Christina Jennings
Christina Jennings knows the Paratus vineyards well, as she hikes their vertical slopes almost daily. The sun-warmed, snowless Mount Veeder mountainside is a far cry from the weather-beaten, rocky peaks she tramped around on during her youth in Alaska, where her love for the outdoors was instilled. Having such visceral contact with the vines during every season gives Christina a closeness to the land and a particular appreciation for the Paratus winemaking process. Experiencing the vineyard’s verticality in such a personal and active way inspired her in designing Paratus’ label and in the art direction of the Paratus website. With a background in French, public relations and graphic design, she is a full-time mom to the two teenaged daughters she and Rob are bringing up on Mount Veeder. In her free time, she creates art.
